Hello Developers, because of junaio Glue and the great possibility to not only create location based AR experiences, but "glue" 2D and 3D information to any object like flyers, books, posters and many more, we have decided to extend the junaio Developer Challenge until July 23rd. This will give you some time to get to know junaio Glue, develop ideas with the natural feature tracking and visual search capabilities and create an exciting channel. I am looking forward to seeing ideas coming up!!

Starting today, you can add some glue to your channel to stick 2D and 3D information to magazines, posters, packaging, newspapers, CD/DVD Cases, Video Games - check out junaio Glue.

We have updated the channel validation based on your feedback:

• More feedback about the request sent to your server
• Display the response from your server
• Allow pois/search and pois/event with different locations and poi IDs
• Display channel on the map once validation has returned no errors

We are seeing more and more developers starting to create channels. So the race has begun... Just to keep the rules up to date: The 5 most subscribed channels on June 16th will be shortlisted and an independent jury of AR experts will decide on the winner of 5000 USD!

In the last days more and more external channels are being developed. There is a YouTube channel, real estates by Hotpads, japanese lunch places and much more showing up.

junaio for Android includes Natural Feature Tracking. As with all of the features in junaio, this will be available through our open API in the future.
