What is the API Key good for?!

This key is needed to validate the junaio server to the Callback API on your server. If somebody requests information at your server, without providing a valid key, you can deny access.

My first Channel - "Hello World"

Creating a simple channel is very easy - just have a look at the "Hello, World" - example in the examples section on this page.
Just follow those four steps to publish your own channel.

  1. Register a new channel
Start with registering a new channel to junaio. You will have to give certain information about your channel, such as a thumbnail and description. Most importantly, provide a callback address to your server, so we know where to start looking, when a user opens or subscribes to your channel.
  2. Set up your server
We will explain to you, what you have to provide, so your server can share information with junaio. Best is to start with one of our libraries so you can focus on creating the juice of your channel.
  3. Test your channel
Testing your channel is essential, so you know whether your channel works as planned and users have fun with or get important information from your channel. Even before your channel is active, you can start testing it with the iPhone. You just need to be logged in.
If for some reason nothing seems to be working as planned, you can also use our validation tool. we wil run basic tests with your channel to see, whether we get some information back.
  4. Submit your channel
Last step is to submit your channel. As soon as you have submitted your channel, we will have a quick glance if everything seems to be working and will set your channel active, if everything seems to be ok.
